Gagarin_in_SwedenYou ever hear someone say, “If I saw God here in the flesh, I would believe”? If not, I’m sure you, as a Christian, have been asked, “How can you know God exists? Have you seen Him?” There was a man by the name of Yuri Gagarin, who was the first man on a voyage into space. When in space, he reported back to the command center saying, “I don’t see any God up here.” Many were captivated by these words and said, “If God is not in the heavens, we must discount the Bible.”

However, it’s interesting to think about it logically (however, on a hermeneutical note, “heaven” and “the heavens” are completely different in the Bible – the heavens refer to the sky and heaven refers to where God resides). Think about it: That’s like a character
